I'm Alex and I have a confession. I was never the kid who raised her hand first or who volunteered to speak in front of the class. I was painfully shy until high school. I know, that makes my career choice pretty bizarre right? The microphone, the lights, the cameras. Little Alex would laugh and say "Yeah, right" if I told her one day she'd make a living reporting and anchoring newcasts on tv's across the country. Well something clicked in my communications classes in college and I found my deep love for talking to people and telling their stories. From flying out the newsroom to cover breaking news, to lugging around equipment so I could shoot, edit, and write my own pieces, to producing and anchoring countless newscasts, I've truly done it all.
